Dr. Jonathan Gelber
Jonathan D. Gelber MD, MS is a host and renowned scholar. He received his dual undergraduate degrees with Honors in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Miami. He then went on to complete his medical school training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City where he graduated with honors in research. Next, Dr. Gelber completed a masters degree in biomedical engineering at Columbia University. After his studies, Dr. Gelber completed his residency in in orthopedic surgery at Harbor-UCLA in Los Angeles and completed a sports medicine fellowship at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Gelber is the author of numerous scientific articles and book chapters. He has presented talks in the field of sports medicine and orthopedics both nationally and internationally. As a lifelong athlete himself, Dr. Gelber has an interest in athletes of all sports. He is the author of the books From Tiger Woods’s Back to Tommy Johns’s Elbow: Injuries and Tragedies that Transformed Careers, Sports, and Society and The Ultimate Guide to Preventing and Treating MMA Injuries.
