A Los Angeles native, Jonathan Rifkind is a recent graduate from the University of Oregon and die-hard Pac-12 sports fan. During his four years with KWVA Eugene, 88.1 FM, Jonathan called and extensively covered all things Ducks’ athletics, building unique and expert insight into the world of Pac-12 sports. When Jonathan isn’t sounding off on Pac-12 football, he is broadcasting elite Southern California high school football for SoCal Prep Insider or taking on his roommate in an intense game of Madden. Jonathan also runs his own company, J&J Media Ventures, specializing in integrated, new age sports media.
Raised in Cheviot Hills, California and an alum of Beverly Hills High School, Jonah Malkin has been a lifelong LA sports fan. A graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Jonah called every Badger sport over four years at 91.7 FM Madison, and accrued extensive knowledge and expertise on the sports world through the lens of the Big Ten Conference. Coincident with his work at the station, he was also hired by the Wisconsin Athletics Department to announce their sporting events on BTN Plus, Big Ten Network’s paid-subscription service. In 2019, his Badger broadcasting career culminated with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Award for best radio sports play-by-play. When not taking to the airwaves to lament the repeated shortcomings of Wisconsin football and basketball, Jonah calls elite Southern California high school sports for SoCal Prep Insider, the online streaming platform for his sports media company, J&J Media Ventures. Jonah is also a professional tennis instructor in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.
