Mark Blankenship and Sarah D. Bunting
Mark is a journalist, editor, and podcast host. He is the founder and editor of The Flashpaper; the host of The Showtune Countdown on iHeartRadio Broadway, and the co-host of Mark and Sarah Talk About Songs. He has written for The New York Times, Fortune, Variety, New York, NPR.org, The Hollywood Reporter, Playbill, and many others, and he is a graduate of Yale School of Drama. He is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and like everyone else from that part of the state, he went to elementary school with someone who swore they were related to Dolly Parton.
Sarah is a writer, editor, and podcaster. A co-founder of TV recap site Television Without Pity and author of two books about TV, she’s also the Co-EIC of true-crime newsletter Best Evidence; and co-hosts TV podcast Extra Hot Great and Beverly Hills, 90210/Melrose pod Again With This. She’s written for Glamour, Seventeen, New York, Backstage, MLB.com, NPR.org, and many others, and presented papers at the annual Baseball in Literature and Culture Conference. She lives in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (“the Saturday Night Fever neighborhood”), and votes a straight anti-raisin ticket.
