Kate Van Horn is a Los Angeles based yoga instructor, eating disorder survivor, and lifestyle influencer on a mission to foster community and share wellness practices to heal past wounds and trauma with women. Born and raised in Philadelphia, and recently transplanted to the west coast, Kate is working to help women reclaim their strength and discover their inner light.

After her experience with childhood sexual assault, Kate’s trauma manifested in severe anxiety at eight years old, leading to depression and anorexia as a teen. While in treatment for PTSD and eating disorder recovery, Kate discovered powerful rituals for healing, including yoga and meditation. Through her training, she built a toolbox of self-care practices to help free herself from judgment, eat nutritious foods intuitively, and overcome obstacles.

Kate Van Horn’s (in)BODY Class is an immersive movement class developed to release the physical and emotional tension that we hold in our bodies. Compared to yoga, Kate describes (in)BODY as a storytelling experience that will make you sweat. Her mind/body work out is rooted in dynamic, intentional movements with an emphasis on replenishing the body and changing the narrative. The (in)BODY Class combines creative vinyasa sequences with cardio, strength, and intensity intervals designed to clear out stagnant energy and let go of stress.

Kate Van Horn is also one of the creators behind The Good Fest, where she hosts wellness festivals, workshops, and retreats to inform and inspire attendees of hundreds of women to live healthy and balanced lives. Kate guides her audience on how they can reprogram their mindset, release harmful thought patterns, and move through painful life experiences.
