Jockey agents make the horse racing world go around. It’s self made position that you can’t go to school for. You just have to be there and live it. Ron Anderson is the most successful agent in the business as his riders earned a combined 42 Million dollars on track last year. Even with COVID-19 restrictions they are still winning races and making bank this year. Jose Santos Jr. is the son of Hall of Fame jockey Jose Santos. JoJo as we call him is only 26 and already a successful jockey agent with three riders making money across the country. We speak with the veteran and the upstart about the business of “hustling” for horses, diversity and equity in horse racing, and it wouldn’t be a Ken Rudulph show without somebody bringing up Giacomo. Let’s get this money…together.
