Former Miss Arizona & Miss Hispanic Arizona, Tasha Dixon, is also the “Queen of The Core.” In this episode, she will stress the great importance of working smarter, not harder via always concentrating on the core muscles, even when performing other exercises. Tasha is a nationally certified personal trainer and nutritionist. She holds certifications from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and APEX. Having worked in the fitness industry for more than a decade, Tasha has trained at the top gyms in Los Angeles and holds many celebrity clients.
Besides concentrating on the core, Tasha is skilled in pre and post-natal workouts and has experience teaching yoga and Pilates. In addition, she has an extensive dance background and incorporates that into her training as desired. Her specialties include fast and effective fat loss, as well as post-injury rehabilitation and strength training. She prides herself on also being stretch certified and helping her clients to regain range of motion and flexibility.
