Busier than a one legged person in an ass kicking contest…The job of Track Announcer is one of the the most demanding positions in all of horse racing. Maybe because it combines marketing, public relations, business communications, journalism, theatre arts, history and pop culture all into one job. It’s something that you can’t just go to school for, you have to love it, learn it, live it and be it. Matt Dinerman and Pete Aiello are self made men who wanted this odd job more than anything in the world. They did the work, got some help along the way and now they are two of the best track announcers in horse racing.
