Coach Jeffery Sims, the Head Football Coach at Missouri Southern State University, is this week’s featured guest. Coach Sims has enjoyed a long, very successful career that has featured many stops along the way. Coach Sims came to MSSU with more than 24 years as a high school and collegiate coach. Including 4 years as the HFC at Garden City CC, where he led the team to a 32-12 record, including the 2016 Junior College National Championship. In his career, Sims has coached more than 51 players to NFL careers, including two first-round NFL Draft picks, as well as NFL All-Pro Lavonte Davis. In total, seven players he has coached have been drafted. Two former players, Pierre-Paul and Jacquian Williams, both played for the New York Giants in a Super Bowl victory.
