It’s the thirty-fifth episode of our intimate sit-down with some of Hollywood’s well-known actors and rising stars that just so happen to also be close friends with On The List host Brett Gursky. This week’s guests Laura Vandervoort (“Bitten”) & Oliver Trevena join Brett to talk all about their careers. Laura discusses her new TV series “Bitten”, which premiered on the SyFy channel in January. She also talks about being Maxim magazine’s March cover girl. Then they go back to the beginning, as Laura shares how she grew up in Canada and got into acting at the age of 13. She had been doing martial arts, got her black belt, then saw the movie “My Girl” and thought “I want to do that.” Laura talks about her first roles on the TV shows “Goosebumps” and “Instant Star”, which led to her playing “Supergirl” on the long-running hit series “Smallville”. She also discusses her roles in the films “This Means War” & “Ted”. Then Oliver tells Brett all about how he got into hosting, first on “Young Hollywood” and now with his own show “Ollywood”. He shares his background as a pop star in England in the boy band Northern Star, as well as his experiences as an actor. Brett also does an Oscar recap with Laura & Oliver, discussing the awards and the after-parties. Be sure to tune in to “Bitten” on SyFy every Monday night.
