Scott Lieberman & Kyle Emanuel
Kyle Emanuel was selected in the fifth round of the 2015 draft by the Los Angeles Chargers, earning a starting role in the 2016 season. A Buck Buchanan award winner, Kyle was the named the top defensive player in college FCS in 2014 at North Dakota State where he won four straight National Championships. In 2017 Kyle finished his third season with the Chargers with 34 combined tackles (21 solo), three pass deflections, 1.5 sacks, and one interception in 16 games and 11 starts.
Scott Lieberman is a Chargers Host and insider. Scott was born the youngest of three in Washington DC to Mel and Sue Lieberman having grown up around the Redskins, Capitals, Bullets (now Wizards,) and Orioles. Contrary to his family’s Philadelphia lineage he never looked back and became the only Lieberfan as they call it, of DC and Maryland area sports.
Being the grandson of a professional baseball player in Ben Lieberman of the Philadelphia Athletics, Scott played ball through high school and college, joining both Landmark College and the University of Miami club team during his 4 years while studying communications. Having bred more than half the NFL, Scott’s allegiance to the Miami Hurricanes are strong and untamed, much like his fantasy football teams.
He won both his leagues last year.
Scott currently resides in Los Angeles sharing play by play and color commentary duties for Santa Monica College Sports TV, calling football, basketball, and volleyball games while finishing his broadcasting and journalism certification. His Chargers connection stems from his favorite city of San Diego having been an avid follower and insider for the last 10 years. In addition to his expertise on the Bleav in Chargers podcast, he has worked at the NFL Network and currently writes and covers sports stories for Medium.com and The Santa Monica Corsair Newspaper. You can also find him on a series of TV shows and commercials such as General Hospital, 1-800 No Cuffs, and Shooter.
He enjoys playing golf, videogames, snowboarding, movies, Jim Carrey impersonations, which you can listen to on his podcasts, metal concerts, and most of all, dining and traveling with his wife to be, Jaclyn.
