“Side Crow” is a new feature that gives us the opportunity to explore in depth, topics that Alexandria Crow brings to her social and in-person workshops/trainings.  The amazing thing is that she is able to generate so many real, engaged comments on her instagram @alexandriacrowyoga While most posts are scrolled right through with a like, or a high five emoji, Alexandria’s page sparks true conversation.  This led to the idea of a forum to expand on these conversations in full-detail.  We got right into it on this first episode, and covered topics like:

*Alexandria’s image that was put out earlier in her career, and if she should feel bad about it.

*Practicing and teaching pre and post social media.

*The state of being “Black & White” and the dangers of that discourse and thinking.

*The standard scripts teachers use.

*How to change the scripts by changing what you perceive is your purpose as a teacher.

*Leaving class: Why do some students feel that they can’t, and some teachers feel like it’s wrong?

If you want to explore more of Alexandria’s approach to teaching, you can check out the program she created, “Yoga Physics” at www.yogaphysics.com

In addition, you can check out her audio classes at  https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yoga-physics-radio/id1338892689
