Dan Lundy is an alumnus of the University of Miami, where he played on the 2001 National Championship Rose Bowl team. Since, Lundy founded 4th Down University (www.4thDownU.com), a special teams training and consultation group that has produced hundreds of Division 1 kickers, punters, long snappers, and dozens of NFL specialists. Cairo Santos (active Chicago Bears Kicker), Austin Seibert (active Detroit Lions Kicker), Tommy Townsend (active KC Chiefs Punter), and Chris Boswell (active Pittsburgh Steelers Kicker) are 4 notable NFL specialists who train with Coach Lundy.
In 19 years of coaching, Lundy has helped to produce 84 All-Americans (55 NCAA and 29 High School), 3 Lou Groza Award winners, and 4 Ray Guy Award winners, given to the nation’s best collegiate kicker and punter respectively.
In 2016, Lundy founded the Kick It Forward Foundation 501(c)3 to offer free experiences for youth football players. As a result, Lundy partnered with Cincinnati Bengals defensive back, Ricardo Allen, to establish the Ricardo Allen (RA37) Football Camp (4thdownu.com/ra37camp). The RA37 Camp is one of the largest free annual football camps in the nation hosted in Daytona Beach, FL each spring.
Currently, Lundy is a regular speaker for the American Football Coaches Association, Nike Coach Of The Year Clinics, Glazier Clinics, X&O Football Clinics, Teams Talk, TXHSFBChat, and the Florida Athletic Coaches Association.
Headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, Coach Lundy is married to the former Aryana Downs. The couple have two daughters, Blake and Leighton.
