Josh Woods and James H. Williams talk with former UCLA linebacker Shea Pitts about his six seasons at UCLA, recruiting Zach Charbonnet and more.

Where to Listen

Former UCLA linebacker Josh Woods and Orange County Register reporter James H. Williams talk with former linebacker Shea Pitts.

Pitts graduated from Oaks Christian High School before walking on at UCLA in 2017 and spending six years with the program.

Pitts was high school teammates with fellow linebacker Bo Calvert and running back Zach Charbonnet before all three became Bruins. Charbonnet originally went to Michigan before transferring to UCLA in 2021. Pitts played a role in bringing the star running back to Westwood as well as several other recruits during his time on campus.

Pitts’ dedication to community service has led to him being nominated for several honors including the Wuerffel Trophy, the Jason Witten Man of the Year Award and the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. He was also a Top 20 candidate for the 2021 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar of the Year award.
