They talk about what brands were dominating in the 80’s that are still going strong today such as Rolex, when the markets of jewelry and watches started to separate, and what the industry looks like today in comparison. They talk about what it was like to be the person who would go to Switzerland to retrieve pieces that were highly wanted in America but not widely available, what he is doing at Watchbox today that is so different from their competitors, and how the customer is truly the main focus for them always. Danny talks about some of the brands that they believe in and enjoy selling, what some brands could be doing better marketing wise, and Ariel asks who exactly should be paying for watch brand marketing?
