Last season, Merrimack set a NCAA record for wins in an Inaugural division 1 season. Merrimack won the NEC regular season championship last year, and they are in position to potentially win another one in just their second year of division 1 basketball. Head Coach Joey Gallo has led this program in their transition from division 2 to division 1 and we sat down with Gallo to discuss how he has been able to have the success that he has had this early on.
