Lindsay Berra is a journalist who has spent more than two decades covering sports and fitness for ESPN MagazineMLB.comMLB NetworkSports Business JournalThe New York TimesBaseball AmericaFast CompanyMen’s Health, and other outlets.  As the granddaughter of the legendary Baseball Hall of Famer, Yogi Berra, Lindsay has a new project which serves as a beautiful tribute to Yogi’s incredible life, both on and off the playing field.  Lindsay is the narrator and executive producer of It Ain’t Over which chronicles the life of a very special man who she was fortunate to call her grandfather.  Gary Mack of the Mets Musings Podcast and The Baseball Talk Radio Show joins Jeff and together they get a special look into the movie.

Gloria Chabot has spent over 40 years in the food industry.  We met her at the 3rd Annual Jeff Michner BBQ Benefit at Pig Beach and featured the brief conversation on episode 187 with the goal of having her back for a more in-depth talk.  That promise has been fulfilled, and she shares many stories on how she got started and the many fascinating places her career has taken her.  Gloria also provides a look at her special relationships with Guy Fieri and the late Carl Ruiz.  When we met her, she was generously serving some wonderful baked goods, and we discuss this latest chapter of her career and why she also goes by Bakergoog.

We conclude the show with the song, Baseball Always Brings You Home by the musician, Dave Dresser, and the poet, Shel Krakofsky.
