Episode 68 – Aaron Perez, Founder of The Punt Factory

Aaron Perez is the president and creator of the Punt Factory, established in 2014. He is also the director of punting with Chris Sailer Kicking. Perez went to high school in Covina, CA, where he was the #1 ranked punter in America. By the end of his junior year he had 20+ scholarship offers! Perez would chose UCLA, where he started four years and finished his career with the most punts and most punting yards in UCLA history. Perez's career punting average ranks in the top eight all time and he was named first team All Pac10 in 2008. After UCLA, Perez was in camps with the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills before retiring in 2010! He then played professional soccer as a goalkeeper for four seasons, playing his final season in 2016 with Minnesota United. In 2017 Perez began traveling across the United States with Chris Sailer Kicking and creating a national name for the Punt Factory. In 2018, Perez had his first student sign with the NFL when Colby Wadman signed with the Denver Broncos. Since, two more of Perez's students signed to punt in the NFL, Jake Bailey of the Patriots and Jamie Gillan of the Cleveland Browns.
