Welcome to our final Patio Season episode which we are recording on the last weekend of the summer! It’s been a great summer and for the first time in quite a while we are recording in person from the shores of Georgian Bay! The crickets have continued to sing into September, and it’s remained hushed on the Leaf’s news front. With training camps set to open mid-week, we expect all this to change in short order.
With the aforementioned training camps getting underway, we begin this episode with a preview of some of the players vying for jobs, and our expectations surrounding the bottom six and goaltending.
Then we have a special edition of the LTL Highlight Reel featuring our top three moments from the summer. Our top pick was a tough one! Let’s just say it involves at least one very high-performing athlete.
And for The Third Period, we take a look at the Coaching Carousel in the NHL. Find out which teams have a new voice behind the bench as we discuss who went where and the potential implications these moves may have throughout the league.
